All the models in the SAP range, by removing the water each cycle, consume considerably less water than a traditional machine. To clarify this concept one should consider the following:
In Traditional glass washers, according to the make and model, there are between 10 and 14 litres of water in the drum. The water consumption during the cycle depends on the water pressure. The higher the water pressure, the higher the water consumption will be. It should also be considered that during the course of the day it may be necessary to completely drain the water from the system this will require a further 10-14 litres of water.
Periodically it may be necessary, according to the levels of waste material and dirt, to renew the water completely, thus using a further 10-14 litres of water.
In SAP glass washers the drum contains only 3.5 litres (models SAP43 & SAP48) and 5 litres (SAP60). The quantity of water consumed each cycle is not regulated each time but is pre programmed. The quantity of water used is therefore constant; 3.5 litres (SAP43 & SAP48) and 5 litres (SAP60)
CONCLUSION: an increase in local water pressure in a traditional glass washer causes higher water consumption, while in the SAP models this consumption remains constant.
